Animania 2010 – Sunday

I’ve been busy lately, so this is pretty late.

I had originally planned not to go to Animania since i would have nothing to do there. The main points for me to go this year were the dolls table, the photo comp, to possibly pick up something from a friend and have a look at the cosplay, other than that everything inside is overpriced and pretty much filled with bootlegs.
I went on the Sunday because there was a doll stringing panel on that day as well as the awards ceremony.

SMASH! has come by again, moving from the Round House to Town Hall this year.

Supanova Sydney 2010

So Supanova has come around again and there goes half of 2010 ^^. I didn’t take many photos this year as i was busy absorbing the atmosphere of the convention? xd. Anyway heres a small summary of what i did and think of the convention.

Mini Animania 2010

Mini Animania was on 20th March, at Redfern technology park Sydney.

I didn’t manage to take very many photos this year as i just didn’t feel like it and the lighting in the stalls area was pretty horrible . I stayed around the bjd table for most of the day and managed to get a few shots of passing cosplayers ^^.

A dollfie filled ’09

Looking back on 2009 it has been pretty eventful ^^, joining the dollfie community probably being the most notable thing of the year, along with starting college. My first year living in Epping also.

Animania 2009

Late post ^^”. Animania was last week.
My first time cosplaying also, my very average cosplay xd. The line this year was better planned out with it splitting in two directions for pre-reg and door sales. The door sales line moved faster than the pre-reg line though o.o

Met up with Nathan around 9:35 and lined up. After about 40mins the line started moving. While in line a ninja walked up to us.. “Simon!” My first responce was “who are you?”  XD, then i realized i was cosplaying(not fully yet since i had my shirt on still T_T). He took a photo then ran off.
We got inside and my first destination was the ABJD table to drop off Ginny, Nia and Yoko.
